In addition to the conceptual design, Jedco developed the technical details for prototype manufacture, and imagery for marketing.

Working witthe lead contractor, Jedco produced a series of product design solutions for external signage and internal flight departure boards for the new international airport in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.
The design concept for the terminal building embraces the airport’s importance as the entry point to Jeddah and the Holy City of Makkah. The design of the airport reiterates its unique positioning as the gateway to the world centre for Islam. Our product designs complemented the contemporary and culturally sensitive architectural style that was developed for the terminal building.
A range of initial concept designs were produced to explore materials, scale, and product aesthetics, and presented to stakeholders for feedback. These were then developed into fully detailed designs using the latest CAD software. A complete specification was then produced to enable local manufacturing.
Integration of digital screens was key to the success of the scheme, especially methods to cool the items in high temperatures.Working with the lead contractor, Jedco produced a series of product design solutions for external signage and internal flight departure boards for the new international airport in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.
