For the second year running, our client Oxford Plastics Systems has won a Streetworks UK award for one of our designs, this time for the 1510 Driveway Board. The award reflects the positive impact the product is having in making streetworks safer for the public.

Our designs for Airport Security Furniture for Baker Bellfield have been unveiled at the Inter Airport Show, Munich.
As well as designing the new products Jedco also produced large format computer generated visuals for the display stands.
The first batch of our bus mounted video LED displays has been unveiled by Exterion Media, featuring advertising from Google. We produced the technically challenging 4m long housing design for our client MotionLED.

Our client, Firepod, recently exhibited the product at the GLEE (Garden & Leisure Equipment Exhibition ) show at the NEC. The team were thrilled to be awarded the Best Outdoor Entertainment Product, congratulations!
Our design of the Papercast Digital Bus Stop is touring the world at key transport Expos, including Atlanta, Brisbane, Milan, Birmingham, London, and many others.
It was recently announced that Gruppo Transporti Turinese (Turin's transit authority) will adopt the product for its next generation bus stop display system.
Our designs for the Firepod Portable Outdoor Oven has recieved recognition with a European Design Award. The product was successful in the Garden Furniture and Accessories catagory.
Our designs for the Mipibaby feeding range has been awarded a prestigeous IDA (International Design Award)

Our Paintbrush design has been awarded in the international Red Dot design award 2015, with the jury stating that: “The environmentally friendly design of the paintbrush demonstrates ecological responsibility in an exemplary way; with your entry you showed uncompromising competency and have measured yourself successfully against the best in the industry”.
Our client Oxford Plastic Systems has won another award for our design of the Oxford Roadplate. It received the Innovation Award in the site safety category at Preventica 2015 in Toulouse, this follows another innovation award in 2012. Popular with utility firms, this safety product is particularly successful in allowing the temporary re-opening of carriageways during the rush hour to reduce traffic delays.
Our team visited Southern Manufacturing to see the very latest technology, components, materials, products and services available here in the South of England. As well as learning about new advances in manufacturing and extending our contact list of manufacturers, it was also a great opportunity to catch up with old friends and several suppliers and clients who were exhibiting.
Jedco are proud to annouce that Creative Director Ed Griffiths has been asked to be part of the expert judging panel for this years Sign Design Society Awards. This international award recognises the very best in Signage and Wayfinding design and attracts entries from around the globe.
We are proud to annouce that the Temporary Olympic Signage has been nominated for the Design Museum 'Design of the Year 2013' in the Transport catagory. The signage will be exhibited at the Design Museum London from the 20th of March, with the winner announced on the 17th of April.

It was a good opportunity to get up to speed with the last last 12 months developments in one of the UK's high growth sectors, and to see some the advances in processes we first discovered during our design of the Supadek Scaffold Plank
Jedco's long association with Kingston University continues. Ed is one of the visiting lecturers teaching the 2nd year product and furniture design students on a part time basis during the autumn semester, and in addition will be giving a lecture on his professional practice.
Jedco are thrilled to have been able to play a small part in London's fantastically successful Olympic and Paralympic Games with the design and project management of the temporary Olympic Wayfinding Signage. Some of the team were lucky enough to get tickets to the Olympic Park, but we all managed to sneak out one afternoon to see Bradley Wiggins fly past near our office en route to gold!
Sketches by Jedco have been included in the new book 'Product Design Sketches' that explores how designers from around the globe generate and visualise their ideas. The book is part of a range of titles related to Product Design from Barcelona based author Christian Campos.
The Sauven 500 is now officially available to order. Designed and developed by Jedco, alongside the in-house engineering and electronics team at Sauven, the 500 combines contemporary styling with advanced materials and finishes.
